Please park only one vehicle in the designated parking areas; your parking assignment is the same as your last name or slip number. All other guest and second vehicles must register at the Front Desk with license numbers.
For the safety of the numerous young children around the Marina, please drive very slowly around the parking lots and on the driveway.
Fishing, swimming and diving in the dockage areas are restricted to slips without boats in them.
Due to the increase in dogs in the Marina and as a courtesy to all, please keep them on a leash and clean up after them. Dispose of their waste in the provided "Pet Pump Out" stations.
As a result of the continuous dock improvements, power upgrades and forces of nature, shore power interruptions are inevitable. Ed Huck Marine will not be held responsible for food spoilage. Leave perishables onboard at your own risk. Power outages are normally posted on the website for your information.
In the interest of courtesy and safety to all please proceed to and from the harbor at dead idle (sea doos included). You will be responsible for wake damage. This includes the area from the speed marker west of the gas dock into the basin. This is very important; we greatly appreciate your co-operation.
Please inquire if you are interested in local telephone exchange service, satellite cable service and/or a weekly cleaning service.
New customers please contact Accounting to activate your charge account. We realize that these accounts are very handy to our customers and are pleased to offer them, however we do ask that a major credit card accompany all applications. We would greatly appreciate existing customers returning our credit forms to update our files.
In an effort to increase customer service efficiency, please ensure that the Service Department has a set of keys to your boat.
The washroom code is 1 and 2 at the same time. Please notify the Front Desk if you are having trouble with the lock or if the washrooms need attention. Please always leave the washrooms as you would like them left for you.
Please keep walkways and docks accessible and free of picnic tables and dock boxes. All dock and storage boxes must be okayed with Peter before installation.
Feel free to use the "raw water washdown pumps" where available on the docks for washing boats. This reduces the draw on fresh water wells. Please ensure that washdown hoses have a nozzle to reduce water wastage.
Please ensure when you leave your slip that any sea doo or dinghy left behind is securely tied so that it does not interfere with your neighbor's boat.
Please advise the Marina by 3.00 p.m. on any weekday if any one of the bar-b-que containers require replenishing - the containers will be chained to the bar-b-ques and there willl also be a full container chained to the gazebo.
Please ensure there is a drop ground sheet and shrink tent around your vessel when painting/scraping during the spring, as this can cause undue problems for surrounding vessels on windy days.
In the event of an emergency during the owners' absence (i.e. bilge pump failure, chafed lines, gas or oil leaks etc.) the Marina will be authorized to make necessary repairs as economically as possible, which will be paid for by the owner. Contact will be made with the owner as quickly as possible.
Employees of the Marina starting or operating boats at the request of the owner or their agents shall be considered to be acting as agent of the boat owner. The Marina assumes no responsibility or liability for the actions of its employees when said action is requested by the owner, or any loss or damage to any property resulting therefrom.
Customs are cracking down so we recommend getting an I 68 or Nexus and remember to call in on both sides - Canada Customs 1 888 CAN PASS - US Customs 1 800 827 2851.
