Yeah, spring is definitely here and launching of boats is now upon us; you cannot beat the blue skies, the warmth in the air, the smell of "springness", the arrival of the first buds and no ice in the river. SPRING COMMISSIONING SHEETS AND CANVAS
As we are gearing up for full launch, and if you have not sent us in your Customer Spring Commissioning Sheets, do please note that launching of your boats will be on our schedule.
As we get underway removing the shrink wrap, anyone who has taken their canvas home for the winter, please ensure that they are delivered back to the marina as soon as possible. You might like to give Chris a call on 613-659-3408 as to when your pending launch might be and when the shrink wrap will be removed.

Boston Whaler is pleased to announce "Spring (Price) Break", a new retail promotion for qualified Montauk and Dauntless boats sold between March 15th, 2010 and April 30th, 2010. This promotion is not applicable to any discontinued models including the 160 Dauntless and 220 Dauntless.

NEW STAFF
This season you will notice a few new faces at Ed Huck Marine; so please welcome:
- Brian Denis who has joined Chris and Sue in our Service Department as a new Service Writer; all 3 will be instrumental in looking after all of your boating wants and needs. His e-mail will be brian@marina.ca
- Christine Crawford will be joining our Gas Dock Personnel and just to remind you of everyone's names again - they will be Madie, Cam, Kailey and Christine.
- Bradie Banville is now part of our "Boat Washing Crew" and will be working alongside Ashley to ensure your boats are clean and ready upon your arrival.
ED HUCK MARINE SPRING HOURS
Starting Saturday, April 10th, 2010 we will be open Monday through Saturday, 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
As of Sunday, May 2nd, 2010, we shall be open 7 days a week from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
We will be closed Friday, April 2nd for Good Friday but open for business Easter Monday, April 5th, 2010.
ED HUCK MARINE "START OF THE SEASON" EVENTS
There is nothing nicer than starting the marina season off with a bang, so please mark in your calendars our annual Wine & Cheese Party - Saturday, June 5th, 2010 from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. at Scenic Lodge House. Join Scott & Peter in celebrating the beginning of a great 2010 summer as well as meeting new customers and/or friends.
Sunday, June 6th, 2010 will be our annual 2nd Ladies Morning from 9.00 a.m. to Noon; join in either solo or bring a friend and enjoy a leisurely and fun few hours of "me" time. There will be a limit of 15 so if you are hoping to attend please let me know as soon as you can - carol@marina.ca
Sunday, June 6th, 2010 from 1.00 to 4.00 p.m. "Help A Friend Discover Boating"; bring a non boating friend down to the marina and enjoy our Demo Day demoing a Cobalt or Boston Whaler with Peter, Scott & Don.

SPECIAL EVENING, FRIDAY, JUNE 4TH
Tall Ships Landing is hosting a very special evening of music by the Great Lake Swimmers in conjunction with the launching of Ian Coristine's 5th book entitled "Lost Channels" at the Brockville Arts Centre. We are thrilled to be able to offer VIP tickets to the first 30 customers who would like to attend. Please either e-mail TallShips@Fuller.ca or call 613-498-7245 to RSVP your attendance.
GENERAL INFORMATION AND CHANGES
On your first arrival you may notice some changes - our last crib dock used for customer dockage has been replaced with a new generation of floating dock; the pool gazebo has been removed and is in the process of being replaced and the small covered docks have had a refurbishment.
We really appreciate the feedback that we received regarding our garbage facilities; we have decided for this season to monitor garbage usage/abuse. There will be dumpsters at "D" dock and beside the large covered grey building; recycling bins will be placed at "D" dock and beside the large covered grey building and the large bins with lids will be placed at the beginning of "B", "C" and Scenic docks.
Our Scenic Gym is now up and running and available to be used at your convenience. It is located in the old Scenic Store and has the most up to date equipment for a good work out.
Since our customers were here last Fall the electronic gate code has been changed; so please call me on 613-659-3408 for the new number.
We can't wait to see everyone back down here at the marina and on the River, and we are all really excited and looking forward to a wonderful summer.
