Summer has arrived, school is out, holidays are set to start and no one is complaining about the heat because this is what it is all about – sun, water, and lots of fun. I hope everyone enjoyed with family and friends a very Happy Canada Day and tomorrow a Happy Independence Day. This month’s beautiful picture of an early morning on the river was taken by one of Ed Huck Marine’s roving sea doo photographers:
SUBLETTING SLIPS:
Ed Huck Marine’s policy is that customers’ are not allowed to sublet their slips. However in the event that you have a relative or friend, who would like the use of your slip for a period of time whilst you are away, please ask them to call me at 613-659-3408. We will be happy to offer them the use of your slip, with your permission, at a rate of $3.50 per ft. per day.
HUGE CANOE & KAYAK SALE:
We do not usually promote other businesses unless we sell the product ourselves, but as a courtesy to our many clients who actively explore the waterways, this is a one off opportunity of being able to purchase new, demos and even factory second canoes or kayaks at incredible prices. Grumco Ltd. is closing its doors after 55 years in business and they are selling everything they have: Grumman Canoes, Dimension, Emotion & Lightspeed Kayaks and sit-on-tops. They are open 7 days from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Either call 613-659-3123 or visit them at 1019 Highway #2 (15 km. E of Gananoque).
COBALT CRUISE & SEA DOO RIDE:
If you haven’t yet joined up for the Cobalt Cruise, there is still time and room; deadline is July 7th. For all current registrants, please confirm your attendance by e-mailing carol@marina.ca. Within the next week I shall be sending out an information page with all details regarding the cruise.
The sea doo ride being held on August 18th is still wide open so drop me a line at carol@marina.ca to sign up for a fun filled exciting ride up to Kingston and back for the day.

Oh and by the way, if you didn’t already know we do not allow camping on Ed Huck Marine property. We very much appreciate your cooperation.
