It is not often that we see a double rainbow, so enjoy this month's beautiful picture which was captured by Sam Johnston.

UPDATE ON OUR NEW HAPPENINGS

The new sea doo racks are up beside the Butler building, and have already been halfway stacked; the inside half of the Butler building has been dug out, insulated and a new floor is being installed; our new weatherproofed winter work shop is taking shape - all very exciting developments.

Peter and Scott have been listening to everyone's wishes and so for those who need and look forward to their early morning coffees during the summer time, the Scenic Lodge General Store is in the process of being relocated back to where it originally was.  Everything that you purchased and enjoyed at the store, you will now be able to do the same in the Customer Service area this upcoming season....coffees, papers, milk, bread, sandwiches, EHM clothing, Sea Doo clothing etc.

ELECTRONIC GATE CODE

The electronic gate code has been changed for the winter season; if anyone would like the new number, please either e-mail me at carol@marina.ca or call 613-659-3408.

SERVICE

We are steadily putting together our winter service work, so as not to disappoint anyone, please call now on 613-659-3408 or e-mail sue@marina.ca for scheduling.  Before we know it, spring will be here....

TORONTO BOAT SHOW

The Toronto Boat Show is looming so for all information regarding show, times, events etc. just click on http://www.torontoboatshow.com/ and you will be able to find everything that you are looking for.

If you haven't already booked your room, call the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel on 416-361-1000 or The Westin Harbour Castle on 416-869-1600 so that you can take advantage of the Boat Show rate.

DOCKING CONTRACTS, NEWSLETTER AND CUSTOMER SURVEY

By the middle of this month our Fall newsletter will be going out to everyone by mail and it is full of news on the upcoming Cobalts, Boston Whalers and of course the new sea doos which will all be available for you to check out at the Toronto Boat Show.  What could be nicer than the anticipation of summer in January?

How did we do this year?  Please let us know by either filling out the Customer Survey which will arrive shortly with the Fall Newsletter and faxing it back to us, or by going online and clicking on http://marina.ca/Announcements/Fall2007Survey/tabid/149/Default.aspx and submit it electronically.  This certainly helps us determine where we can improve and make your summers the best they can be.

And talking about summers, now is the time to fill in your Docking Contract when they arrive in your mail box to ensure your slip for next year.  Lynn does require them mailed/faxed back to her by November 30th, 2007.

GENERAL

What a great summer season we have had; many thanks to everyone for making it so enjoyable for us all.  Keep those photographs coming; what could be nicer than having the islands to look at on your screen during the "dreary" months.

Our hours of operation are now Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

One Saturday this past summer, 6 year old Kyle from Rockport, Ontario held a bake sale in our Customer Service Area for the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, because his Grandpa Ronny had died from cancer.  As a follow up you can now watch a short clip of Kyle by clicking on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG0NW0LsK5I or you may like to find out more by visiting www.kingstonhospitalsfoundation.ca

A very safe and Happy Thanksgiving to all our American clients enjoying family time this month.

Until the next time,
