Now that we are into August, we are really looking forward to you joining us, as we eagerly focus on these 3 upcoming great events.
1) Peter's fun filled SEA DOO RIDE, Saturday, August 23rd.....mark your calendars and make sure you get your name on the list by e-mailing carol@marina.ca No specific plans have yet been made as this always varies on weather and wind, but you can always depend on a great time.
2) Let's also celebrate an awesome boating season by joining The Party on Friday, August 29th at Scenic Lodge. Share your boating stories and pictures with your fellow neighbours. Contact me at carol@marina.ca before August 23rd for tickets ($15 per person). Details will soon follow.
3) Ed Huck Marine is pleased to present a General Maintenance Seminar on August 30th at 10.00 a.m. This will be the perfect opportunity to meet our technicians and learn what makes your boat go.
WINTER SERVICE SPECIALS
Ed Huck Marine is very excited about the completion of its new winter service shop; this addition brings the total shop capacity to over 7000 square feet. This will now allow us to begin our most competititve preventative maintenance program ever. Preventative maintenance means less downtime in season keeping you on the water and not in the service shop.
You will shortly be receiving by mail an outline of the different packages that we will be offering.
Any and all service questions can be sent to sue@marina.ca or peter@marina.ca or call 613-659-3408.
WINTERIZATION FORMS
Don't think of haul out as that "dreaded" time again; think of it as making sure your boat is well taken care of over the winter months without hassle. These sheets will also be mailed to you, so please when you receive it, either fax the sheet in to 613-659-3413 or drop it off to us in person to guarantee your storage space for the 2008/2009 season.
KYLE'S BAKE SALE
Kyle, Andrew's son, is once again raising money for the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario at Kingston General Hospital; he will be hosting his 2nd Bake Sale starting at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday, August 9th, 2008 at Ed Huck Marine. So if you are down at the marina, please drop by and help Kyle and his great cause.
Keep enjoying your summer months and until the next time.
